REFUND & FAIR USE POLICY

1. Introduction

We are committed to providing high-quality online learning experiences. This Refund & Fair Use Policy explains your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), our obligations, and the conditions under which refunds or access limitations may apply.
By purchasing or accessing our online courses, you agree to this policy.

2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product or service has a major problem. For digital services such as online courses, a major problem includes:

  • The course does not match its description or advertised features
  • The content is significantly different from what was promised
  • The course is not delivered with acceptable care and skill
  • The course is unavailable or inaccessible for an unreasonable amount of time
  • The course is not fit for its intended or advertised purpose

If a problem is minor, we may remedy the issue by repairing or re-supplying access.

The ACL does not require change-of-mind refunds. However, we choose to offer one as part of our customer satisfaction commitment.

3. Our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Change-of-Mind Refunds)

We offer a 14-day change-of-mind money-back guarantee for all online course purchases.

3.1 Eligibility

You may request a refund for any reason within 14 days of purchase if:

  • You decide the course is not right for you; or
  • You have changed your mind after enrolling.

3.2 Conditions

To keep our policy fair and protect course integrity, the following conditions apply:

  • You must have completed less than 20% of the course content at the time of the refund request.
  • You must submit your request within 14 days of purchase.
  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

If you have completed more than 20% of the course, the guarantee does not apply; however, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.

4. Refunds Outside the 14-Day Guarantee

After the 14-day period, refunds will only be provided where required under the ACL, such as when:

  • The course has a major problem;
  • It is not as described;
  • It is not delivered with reasonable skill or care;
  • It is unreasonably inaccessible due to technical issues.

Change-of-mind refunds are not offered after the 14-day period.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at billing@reliabletrading.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Email used for purchase
  • Order number or receipt
  • Reason for requesting the refund (optional for change-of-mind refunds)
  • Confirmation that you have completed less than 20% of the course

We aim to respond within 5 business days.

6. Fair Use Policy

To protect our intellectual property and maintain a fair learning environment, the following Fair Use Policy applies to all course participants.

6.1 Personal Use Only

Course access is granted to a single individual. You may not:

  • Share login details
  • Distribute course materials
  • Upload content to other platforms
  • Allow others to access the course under your account

6.2 Reasonable Usage

To prevent misuse:

  • Excessive downloading, copying, or streaming may trigger an account review
  • Automated or bulk downloading tools are prohibited
  • Accounts showing abnormal activity may be temporarily restricted pending investigation

6.3 Breaches of Fair Use

If we detect a breach, we may:

  • Suspend or terminate access
  • Refuse refunds
  • Take legal action in cases of copyright infringement

We will notify you and allow an opportunity to respond before action is taken.
